Countdown to 2025 Harvest (approximated)
About us:
Kevin and Linda are originally east coasters from Pennsylvania and New Jersey respectively. After college, corporate America brought us to San Diego California. Having an affection for being closer to nature, farming and entrepreneurship, they acquired an existing vineyard in Paso Robles and never looked back.
Learning about vineyard farming from the most sought out leaders throughout the Central Coast is what led to our name. "We love learning from various world class viticulturists, each with unique sustainable farming techniques; then giving back through teaching industry peers".
The soils on the estate range from calcareous, shale, and clay loams which provide ideal growing conditions. The soil types, similar to the Bordeaux growing region and fluctuations in high and low temperatures through multiple canyon funnels, channeling cool air through the vineyard every evening, are some of the reasons that viticulturist, Phillip Doub, (one the founders for the Ca Poly Viticulturist Program) sought to establish the estate years ago.
In addition to our microclimates and calcareous soils, we also practice sustainable farming and yield control through canopy and irrigation management for intense and balanced wines.
